Program Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of a $15 million government contract focused on innovative manufacturing solutions
- Oversee project teams, ensuring adherence to risk management frameworks and compliance with MIL-STD requirements
- Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) and integrated master schedules (IMS) to track project progress
- Cook up with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Develop and write Statements of Work (SOW) for projects
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and customers
- Support the growth of the new business unit through strategic planning and team development
- Identify solutions to challenges and implement effective strategies to meet project demands
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DoD program management within government or a prime contractor; familiarity with MIL-STD requirements
- Experience managing medium-sized government contracts (>$5M), particularly with the Department of Defense
- Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), integrated master schedules (IMS), and formal risk management frameworks
- Pioneering track record supporting the buildout and management of project teams in a technical field
- Manufacturing experience is required
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
- U.S. Persons status is required due to ITAR/export control regulations
- Flexibility in working hours is preferred
