About the role
The Program Manager at Aptive/Artemis is responsible for overseeing large-scale federal transition assistance programs that support military Service members transitioning to civilian life. This role involves providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and leadership for the successful execution of these programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee program management, staffing, operational deployment, risk mitigation, quality assurance, and stakeholder coordination across geographically dispersed teams operating both CONUS and OCONUS.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with Government leadership, ensuring all contractual deliverables, schedules, reporting requirements, and performance standards are met in accordance with federal regulations and program objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams responsible for curriculum development, training operations, onsite support services, data analysis, and modernization initiatives.
- Manage project implementation plans, staffing strategies, operational readiness, and continuous improvement efforts while ensuring compliance with all security, privacy, and quality control requirements.
- Oversee large-scale workforce operations, maintain effective communication with Government stakeholders, coordinate regional operations, monitor program risks, and support the delivery of transition assistance services to approximately 200,000 transitioning Service members annually across more than 300 military installations worldwide.
Requirements
- 12 years of experience.
- Master’s degree in related field.
- 5 years of experience in managing programs of a national scope, preferable for the DoD.
- Project Management Professional certification (or equivalent industry recognized project management certification).
- Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to marketing trends and technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Experience supporting complex projects and transformation efforts within the federal government.
- Comfortable with supporting complex client relationships.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Benefits
This is a contingent hire position. This position is remote. However, travel for occasional in-person meetings will be required.
