Program Manager

Apogee Engineering has exciting opportunities for Journeyman & Senior level Program Managers. The Program Managers provide management of NASIC program activities, ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met for the assigned program. This position serves as a primary interface between the Government and contractor for program execution.

Contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, implement, and control the assigned program.
• Establish performance objectives and track progress against cost, technical, and schedule baselines.
• Monitor contract cost, schedule, and performance, coordinating with functional managers and technical leads.
• Prepare and present program status reports and briefings to senior customer personnel.
• Coordinate risk management activities and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead and mentor project and functional staff supporting program execution.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
• Clearance: TS/SCI
• Certifications: ITIL or PMI (e.g., PMP or other PMI program/project management certification)
• Education / Years Of Experience
  • Senior Program Manager: Minimum ten (10) years of experience in program or project management within DoD or similar environments; Master’s degree in a relevant field, with substitution options as defined.
  • Journeyman Program Manager: Minimum three (3) years of experience in program or project management; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with substitution options as defined.
• Proven track record managing complex, high-visibility or mission-critical programs.
