PROGRAM MANAGER

Position Summary

Responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous programs under development or in production. This is a salaried‑exempt full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Execute one or more simultaneous programs under development according to the released Product Life Cycle/Phase Review process from program approval through volume production.
• Execute one or more simultaneous production‑released programs to meet delivery, quality, and performance requirements.
• Lead program teams and facilitate communication and interaction among functional representatives.
• Track program against schedule, quality, budget, and phase‑review objectives; report status to supervisor regularly and to executive staff as needed.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for off‑schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
• Coordinate with customers to provide program status and obtain feedback.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with safety regulations; keep work area clean and orderly.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but serves as a coach and mentor and provides direction for other team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business discipline (required).
• MBA (preferred).
• Ten years of experience in the Defense or Automotive industry (plus).
• Previous program management experience.
• Experience in two or more of the following disciplines: development engineering, process engineering, finance, operations.

Travel

Travel as required.

Physical Demands

The role is largely sedentary but includes regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, using hands, and reaching. Occasional filing requires lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or stooping. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
