About the role
The American Indian College Fund is seeking a Program Manager to support projects managed out of the President’s Office. The position will work directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and will coordinate convenings, manage communications with external constituents such as Tribal College Presidents and TCU Governing Boards, operate as a project manager and coordinate with external consultants.
Responsibilities
- Support budget and timeline management
- Manage constituent communications
- Cook up and manage consultant and advisory committee coordination
- Manage report process coordination, formatting, and editing
- Select event location and manage contract and vendor partner relations
- Cook up all on-site logistics
- Manage communications with attendees and support travel arrangements
- Identify and coordinate presenters
- Manage all logistics for virtual meetings and webinars
- Summarize meeting notes
- Process expenses for payment
- Maintain project management tool
- Cook up travel arrangements
Requirements
- 4+ years project, program and administrative management
- Experience with convening or event management
- Demonstrated ability as a self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to respectfully communicate and work within a diverse environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Professional skills in AI and project management software
Qualifications
- Personal and/or professional lived experience in or working with Indigenous communities and/or Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCU)
- Experience working with Governing Boards, higher education
