Key Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of one or more major programs, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Support CareInMotion and Altera leadership by providing program management control on key initiatives, including the development and delivery of solutions to market and internal process improvements.
- Partner with leaders to define the overall work breakdown structure and detailed tasks, and assess impacts on other projects.
- Facilitate cross-functional program teams to define, estimate, and schedule resources and program work to achieve the program's scope.
- Ensure adherence to common processes and project management procedures.
- Provide a platform for communication and relationship management, engaging stakeholders for buy-in and relieving bottlenecks.
- Monitor performance, provide reporting, and help diagnose the root cause of problems.
- Identify, escalate, and take pre-emptive action to mitigate critical issues and potential scheduling risks in a timely manner.
- Functionally manage program team members, communicating responsibilities and ensuring they have the resources and talent needed to succeed.
- Build strong relationships across organizational functions at various levels.
- Motivate the team to drive toward success and find ways to overcome difficulties.
- Identify, suggest, and implement improvements to processes, sharing lessons learned from program execution.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant project management experience. PMP Certification is required. 10+ years of relevant work experience, with 2-3 years at an Expert level or equivalent experience is preferred. Lean Six Sigma or other special certifications are preferred.
- Skills: Strong and demonstrable project management skills, including influencing, communications, tracking, planning, and organization. In-depth knowledge of project and program management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Solid leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Solid ability to collaborate with individual contributors and business leaders to define business process issues, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or relevant business/information technology experience is preferred. Post-graduation qualifications are preferred.
