Program Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead engineer-to-order projects from concept through delivery, ensuring that customer requirements are accurately translated into mechanical system designs.
- Cookordination cross-functional activities across engineering, operations, marketing, and technical support to keep projects on schedule and meet delivery commitments.
- Manage engineering documentation, including creation, review, and maintenance of drawings, specifications, and technical records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee design changes and configuration control, ensuring that all modifications are properly evaluated, documented, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Drive project planning and execution using program and project management best practices, including scope definition, schedule development, risk management, and status reporting.
- Ensure all technical deliverables meet internal quality standards, customer expectations, and applicable engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with mechanical design teams to guide and review design work, leveraging mechanical engineering expertise to support sound technical decisions.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to support production of complex capital equipment, resolving technical issues and facilitating smooth handoff from design to build.
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly and proactively to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Promote continuous improvement in project execution, documentation practices, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
- At least 2 years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with complex capital equipment projects.
- Strong program management and project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Solid mechanical engineering foundation, with the ability to understand and review mechanical system designs.
- Ability to manage engineering documentation and design changes with attention to detail and process compliance.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience coordinating engineering, operations, marketing, and technical support.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical and project information to diverse stakeholders.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $148,000.00/yr.
Schedule
This is a Permanent position based out of Horsham, PA.
Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing and engineering-focused environment that centers on the design and production of complex capital equipment. The Program Manager works closely with mechanical engineers, operations personnel, marketing, and technical support teams, spending time in both office and production areas to coordinate project activities and support build and delivery. The work setting emphasizes adherence to established engineering processes, quality standards, and documentation practices, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and meeting customer delivery commitments.
