About the role

Lifeworks is hiring a full-time Residential Program Manager to work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) in one of our residential programs. We are a nonprofit human service agency that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live engaged and meaningful lives.

Candidates must have managerial experience and experience working with this population.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all hands-on direct care, including but not limited to: showering, toileting, shaving, brushing teeth, and meal-time assistance.
  • Handle all aspects of staffing: scheduling, on-call, training, supervision, and relationship management.
  • Case management: develop and implement all aspects of Individual Service Plans (ISPs), schedule medical appointments, and conduct program and clinical reviews.
  • Complete or delegate administrative tasks, including staff payroll, updating manuals, and approval/reconciliation of petty cash funds, house accounts, and representative payee accounts.
  • Conduct and supervise the teaching of activities of daily living, including social skills, personal routines, and financial management.
  • Serve as a liaison between the agency and the individuals’ family, friends, and guardians.
  • Implement and oversee behavioral interventions and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of individuals both in the home and within the community.
  • Administer and oversee the timely and accurate administration and documentation of medication(s).
  • Maintain a physically safe work environment and report work-related injuries/incidents to Human Resources in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Experience managing a group home.
  • Experience working with individuals with ID/DD.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; related experience preferred.
  • Must pass fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC, and driving background checks.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Valid MAP certification or willingness to obtain certification within 3 months of employment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

$73,855 per year.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
