About the role

The Data Center Infrastructure Delivery team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art data center facilities at scale and at pace. This team comprises experienced project managers who work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of complex data center infrastructure and network projects. They bring a wealth of expertise in project management and technical acumen, ensuring that our data center infrastructure delivery meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability. This team plays a crucial role in supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's data needs and driving our growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of multiple data center infrastructure projects concurrently.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
• Project Management: Oversee all phases of build, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Project Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies aimed at reducing complexity and increasing speed of delivery for data center infrastructure projects.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns. Frequent executive communication is expected.
• Work with both internal OCI teams and external Cloud Service Providers to deliver new sites, expansions (for space & power), and adding customer capacity.
• Serve as the single-threaded leader accountable to complete all execution tasks on-time; such as fit out, circuit provisioning, network & software bootstrap.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks to data center delivery to maintain project timelines.
• Engage effectively across various stakeholders including design, engineering, operations, supply chain, outside vendors and network delivery.

Qualifications

Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.

Pay

US Hiring Range: $102,300 - $209,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
