Program Manager 2

This role supports an American multinational semiconductor company based in Austin, Texas, that develops computer processors, flash memories, graphics processors, motherboard chipsets, and related technologies for business and consumer markets.

About the role

This is a 12-month temporary onsite assignment in Austin, TX. The Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and closing of complex projects, coordinating efforts across multiple interconnected projects to achieve broader business objectives and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Establish program objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets in alignment with organizational strategy and goals.
• Lead, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of program activity, including the work of project managers and other staff within the program.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on program status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure integration and synergy among projects within the program to maximize benefits and efficiencies.
• Evaluate and assess program results against defined success criteria and perform post-program reviews for continuous improvement.
• Resolve complex issues that transcend individual projects and require coordinated solutions across project teams.

• Proficient in program and project management methodologies and tools.
• Superior communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical aptitude with an ability to identify strategic insights from complex data.
• A bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field, often coupled with professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP).
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
