About the role
The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking a Program Management Support Staff Specialist to support federal grant programs.
Responsibilities
- Supports the MFP with gathering information from existing files requested during the annual MFP audit and supports professional licensure review process with leadership.
- Prepares students’ stipend payments, ensures accuracy of the fellows submitted documentation in a timely manner and tracks for finance review and the project director’s review and approval.
- Ensures expenses charged to the MFP Center Card are reconciled with the appropriate invoice and receipt within five days.
- Enters annual goals, tracks educational offerings, and submits quarterly data in the SAMHSA Performance Accountability and Reporting System (SPARS).
- Assist in other duties as assigned by the project director to support the grant data management functions.
- Monitor and manage daily the programs mailbox, address, and follow through to appropriate staff person as needed; mitigate administrative non-fellow and fellow inquiries regarding questions about the MFP.
- Support special program projects as assigned.
- Directly supports and tracks multiple administrative components in the annual preparation/planning of the MFP’s annual Intensive Training Institute (ITI) Conference.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Related Work Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience managing grants and nonprofit finances, and project management skills.

- Strong organizational and data project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to understand, analyze and interpret federal grant information in varying formats to complete and submit reports.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in use of common desktop applications, and data management systems.
Qualifications
- Contribute to the MFP team through various program lifecycle supports for applicants and fellows.
- Exceptional customer service, people skills and the ability to manage time, deliverables and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in use of Excel and Word to include other common desktop web applications, , and data management systems.
- Provide administrative program support.
- Ability to write well and support correspondence development.
