Program Management - Program Manager V

Location: Remote, California

Compensation: $89 - $99 hourly

About the role

We are looking for a Program Manager who can serve as the operational backbone for a key program. The successful candidate will not own the strategy but will be responsible for the execution infrastructure that brings strategy to life. This role is focused on building a durable system for operational excellence, designing and piloting AI-driven coordination workflows, and creating a playbook for other teams to adopt.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the operational backbone of the System Intelligence Program, acting as a shared resource for all pod leads and the Program Lead.
• Own the execution infrastructure that makes strategy real, rather than owning the strategy itself.
• Build a system that outlasts the contract duration.
• Design and pilot AI-driven coordination workflows.
• Document what processes remain human-owned and the rationale behind it.
• Produce a playbook that other teams can adopt for their own operations.
• Drive alignment and outcomes across multiple teams without direct authority through influence and follow-through.
• Build structure and process in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Requirements

• Track record of driving alignment and outcomes across multiple teams without direct authority, including influencing, being firm with requests, and ensuring follow-through.
• History of building structure and process in environments that did not have it, under ambiguous, fast-moving conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for writing status reports, playbooks, stakeholder communications, and influencing senior leaders.
• Systems-thinking orientation with a focus on building the machine, not being the machine.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows and drive measurable impact.
