About the role

The Program Management Manager will be based at Dauch's World Headquarters in Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities

  • Determines project requirements, schedules, and capital expenditures to develop detailed project and program plans.
  • Manages cross-functional teams; coordinates all project activities to drive projects from initial to completion.
  • Captures and coordinates critical, multisectional projects involving customers, vendors, and consultants.
  • Performs project risk analysis, identifies risk areas, and develops alternate mitigation measures.
  • Plays a central role in planning, implementing, and overseeing a group of related projects to achieve organizational goals.
  • Acts as the central point of contact for stakeholders, and manages cross-functional teams, budgets, risks, scope, and quality.
  • Identifies, assesses, and mitigates potential risks, and manages changes within the program to ensure goals are met.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and deliver important projects through to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects including schedules, budgets, and project deliverables.
  • Develops and implements programs aligned with organizational objectives, setting clear goals and defining the strategic direction for initiatives.
  • Leads and influences cross-functional team members, guiding them in achieving program deliverables.
  • Manages the dependencies between various projects within the program to ensure seamless integration.
  • Establishes and maintains transparent communication with all stakeholders, providing accurate and timely reports on program status.
  • Ability to travel domestically to support the needs of the program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in program/project management, operations, or related leadership roles.
