Program Lead EQT/ EMI Systems Engineer

About the role

BAE Systems is seeking an experienced systems engineer to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers focused specifically on the environmental qualification testing (EQT) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) certification of Advanced Compact Electronic Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Managing the systems engineering content and work products associated with qualification, which includes developing the test requirements baseline, designing qualification strategies and procedures, and overseeing the integration and execution of environmental and EMI/EMC testing
• Responsible for the end-to-end qualification lifecycle, from the initial definition of the test plan through the analysis of test results and the final certification of the hardware
• Preparing and delivering high-impact technical presentations internally and for customer meetings to defend qualification strategies and report on program readiness
• Assisting with project planning & execution, and management / development of the assigned workforce

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field, or equivalent experience in a relevant field with a minimum work experience of: 8+ Years with BS, 6+ Years with MS, 4+ Year with PhD
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through EMI/EQT efforts in the defense or aerospace industry
• Possess an active Secret clearance
• Experience supporting programs developing Electronic Warfare, RADAR, or RF Communications Systems

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Ability to lead Test Engineers while successfully collaborating with other managers or engineers from other disciplines
• People skills that support collaboration across multiple channels
• Motivated, team-oriented individual with strong problem-solving abilities

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $132,962 - $226,035

Schedule

This role will be performed full-time on site at a BAE Systems customer facility 100% of the time.
