EMI/EMC Design and Test Engineer

This role is part of Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions, where you’ll design and manufacture cutting-edge systems and technologies enabling precision strike missions. As an EMI Engineer, you’ll be part of an innovative team developing industry-leading navigation products, overseeing lab activities, coordinating EMI/EMC design efforts, mentoring hardware teams, and managing EMI/EMC testing. This hybrid role combines onsite and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test EMI/EMC solutions for navigation products.
- Oversee internal lab activities and coordinate EMI/EMC design efforts.
- Mentor Hardware Engineering Teams in EMI/EMC best practices.
- Coordinate all EMI/EMC testing efforts, including compliance with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, and MIL-STD-704.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve EMI/RF issues.
- Utilize electronic test equipment and apply electrical circuit design principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience with electronic test and troubleshooting.
- Experience with electronic test equipment.
- Experience with electrical circuit design and schematic capture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EMI/EMC test and troubleshooting.
- Experience with EMI/EMC test equipment and filtering.
- Understanding of MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-704 test procedures and methods.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to work unsupervised, multi-task, and coordinate work.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $120,874 – $205,486. Individual salaries are determined by factors including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
