Program Intern, Innovation Research & Grants at equitar
About the role
In this junior professional role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading various grant writing, research, submission, and management activities for our grants (e.g., Small Business Innovation Research Grants in Intelligent Digital Health) and public-private partnerships, and for our life sciences, public sector, world health, and academic contracting initiatives
- Leading the writing, production, and content management of procedures, policies, work instructions, and guidance, in support of the information governance and deployment of our Management Information Systems (“MIS”), designed to enable our grants, partnerships, and contracting operations to scale across our decentralized enterprise
- Participating in regulatory-grade Clinical Operations (“ClinOps”), as may be undertaken for the validation of our intelligent digital health applications, models, and algorithms under conditions of actual use (e.g., in equitar Centers of Inference™)
- Daily management and tracking of your projects, tasks, and milestones through your effective use of our Project and Program Management Systems (e.g., Microsoft Planner)
Requirements
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of professional responsibility in the business workplace, supporting management, and delivering results, including:
- 3+ years of experience in the business workplace, with demonstrable, positive results. (Low-experience candidates committed to accelerated professional development will also be considered.)
- The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in a Life Sciences Curriculum, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in Neuroscience, Neurology, Psychiatry, and/or Clinical Psychology is a major plus.
- Knowledge, training, and experience in Social Impact Investing and/or Entrepreneurship is a major plus
Qualifications
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Excellent time management, planning, and teamwork skills
- A passion for building and scaling high-performance business processes and systems
- Demonstrable understanding of contemporary MIS, cybersecurity, productivity, customer relationship management, creative, and content management applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, etc.)
