About the role
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Financial Manager to join our team onsite in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities
- Develop descriptive detail briefings to defend program funding requirements.
- Prepare total program budget exhibits for presentation.
- Build, maintain, track, and update spend plans and execution spreadsheets for funding actions using required systems.
- Direct, implement, and administer formal aspects of program in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and government regulations.
- Prepare funding documents for program execution.
- Responsible for the development of program-related financial data.
- Ability to travel CONUS 25% may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of relevant financial and budget experience.
- Experience in budget formulation, analysis and administration.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office products.
- Experience creating annual budgetary spend plans.
- Experience monitoring annual budgetary spend plans against annual government known/standard metrics.
- Experience in tracking commitments, obligations, and expenditures of funds throughout the life cycle of an acquisition/appropriation.
- Experience in analyzing cost performance reports and contract financial status reports.
- Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Organizational Financial Information System (NFIS).
- Experience with Financial Information Requirements Tool (FIRsT).
- Experience with Request for Contract Action (RCA) tool.
- Experience with internal and external agreements coordination.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
