About the role

The Program Financial Analyst I plays a crucial role in supporting the ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area. This team is a leader in ISR and aviation, providing innovative, high-performance systems and services.

Responsibilities

  • Review, monitor, and control project data for internal and external project reporting.
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with cost proposals and pricing documentation.
  • Conduct "what-if" cost analysis, program cost forecasts, and cost variance analysis.
  • Maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines by monitoring outstanding work.
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial models and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and analysis.
  • Aid in the preparation of financial presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, project control, or a related field. Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
  • A minimum of 4 years of related experience if a degree is not held.
  • Ability to effectively and clearly communicate program and financial related information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Enthusiasm for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management.

Essential Functions

  • Work in an office or hybrid environment.
  • Work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Strong hand/finger dexterity for computer tasks.
  • Occasional lifting/moving up to 20 pounds.
  • May require occasional travel for training or meetings.

Pay

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $64,900.00 - $85,296.00. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
