About the role

The Program Financial Analyst supports a large program within Peraton's Space Sector. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supports the development, updates and review of the program spend plan monthly.
  • Compiles Monthly Contract Status Reports.
  • Attends and presents program financials at monthly customer program reviews.
  • Works with the billing department to ensure prompt and accurate monthly invoicing.
  • Performs monthly variance analysis on program financials.
  • Acts as a key technical expert on financial analysis issues.
  • Manages program Accounts Receivable tasks, including invoicing, unbilled analysis, and resolution of billing issues.
  • Maintains spending versus plan monitoring and notifies management of any overruns/underruns.
  • Maintains the status of financial accounts, ensuring accurate contract charges for labor hours, subcontractor costs, and other direct costs (ODCs).
  • Interfaces with management to respond to requests for financial data.
  • Resolves reporting and compliance issues.
  • Supports other ad hoc reporting and/or activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, Information Management, or related field, with a minimum of 8 years experience, or Master's Degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Advanced computer skills, including 4+ years experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint, eight or more years of program/application financial experience in the Intelligence Community, knowledge and experience with Federal Accounting Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), strong collaboration skills, ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, and meet recurring deadlines.

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000.
