Responsibilities

  • Work with program teams to develop detailed financial plans and schedules for both internal and subcontractor execution on Government programs.
  • Analyze financial data to track execution against the financial plan, identify variances, and understand the root causes of those variances.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on financial execution (both written and verbal) and recommend future actions.
  • Audit program execution to ensure compliance with contract requirements, company policies and program strategic goals. This includes maintaining detailed status of prime and subcontractor deliverables.
  • Assist with the preparation of cost portions of proposals.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Multiple years of experience working as an accountant or in a finance role in an organization performing federal contract work.
  • Experience working with GAAP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work within specified deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate (both verbal and written) clearly and precisely.
  • Strong understanding and proven experience of supporting Cost based contracts.
  • Strongly Preferred: Experience in DoD efforts with a working understanding of the FAR and DFAR.
  • Experience working with Unanet financial system.

Qualifications

This position requires a TS security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility); having an active TS clearance is a strong preference but is not strictly required.
