TDXi, a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), an Alaska Native Corporation, is seeking a Program Support Specialist in Newport News, Virginia. This full-time role reports to the Program Support Director and offers an opportunity to grow with an established defense contractor.

About the Role

This position provides project and administrative support for TDXi’s Technical Services Headquarters Office. The role involves coordination, reporting, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations in a government contracting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for contract/project.
  • Review timecards from Deltek and Viewpoint to ensure correct and timely submission.
  • Prepare billing support and tracking for a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee contract.
  • Prepare, code, submit, and track travel expense reimbursement and per diem requests in accordance with JTR requirements.
  • Support staff in assigned project-based work.
  • Perform general clerical duties as needed.
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office programs.
  • Answer telephones and transfer or take messages for other staff members.
  • Work independently and on small teams with strong communication skills.
  • Comply with quality and safety programs and accomplish other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher, or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • One to three years of experience in payroll, billing, or contract support, preferably within government contracting.
  • Deltek/Viewpoint timekeeping administration experience.
  • Familiarity with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
  • Familiarity with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
  • Familiarity with Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements.
  • Experience in billing Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Cost Reimbursable (CR) contract lines (CLINs).
  • Knowledge and experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook); extensive Excel knowledge is required.
  • Government accounting and/or payroll experience is desired.
  • Previous military experience, in a professional or civilian capacity, is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively with a remote team and across multiple work sites.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on written communication (grammar, spelling, etc.).
  • Reliability, accountability, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Professional appearance, energetic demeanor, and pride in work.
  • Ability to manage stress and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must pass background checks.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret-level security clearance if required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Schedule

Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
