Program Facilitator

About the role

The Monterey After School Program Facilitator program starts on August 5, 2026, and ends on June 4, 2027. The schedule includes Monday through Friday from 2:25 PM to 6:00 PM, with Saturday off.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured, engaging activities and sports using Elevo’s curriculum
• Manage group dynamics and support positive student behavior
• Partner with school staff and fellow coaches to create a welcoming program environment
• Show up consistently as a role model who helps students build confidence and social skills

Requirements

• Experience coaching, playing sports, working in education, or leading youth in any setting
• Bring energy and presence that holds a group of up to 20 students’ attention
• Stay calm and empathetic when managing behavior or redirecting a tough moment
• Build trust quickly with students, families, and school staff
• Run activities on time and adapt on the fly when plans shift
• Collaborate with fellow coaches and school partners

Pay

$22 per hour

Monday: 2:25 PM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 2:25 PM - 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 2:25 PM - 6:00 PM
Thursday: 2:25 PM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 2:25 PM - 6:00 PM
Saturday: No Work

Additional Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Pass Live Scan Background check and TB screening
• Must be 18+
• High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one place to another frequently
• Frequent sitting or standing
• Occasional running and other strenuous physical activity
• Safely move on irregular and/or uneven terrain on a regular basis
