Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, manages, updates, and evaluates all aspects of the nursing program, including budget, faculty, staff, clinical site liaison, curriculum, compliance, and student support.
- Ensures program compliance with Board rules, accreditor standards, and clinical agency requirements.
- Maintains student and faculty records, develops policies and procedures, and organizes program committees.
- Participates in faculty recruitment, hiring, orientation, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
- Monitors quality of instruction, advises students, and maintains professional association memberships.
- Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on-site for collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current licensure in the state of application.
- Current Graduate degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.
- Active, unencumbered Nursing License in the state of work or part of the compact licensure.
- At least three-four years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent oral/written communication abilities.
- Collaborative leadership style with computer resource proficiency.
- Preferred experience in supervision, planning, budget preparation, and maintenance.
