Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, manages, updates, and evaluates all aspects of the nursing program, including budget, faculty, staff, clinical site liaison, curriculum, compliance, and student support.
  • Ensures program compliance with Board rules, accreditor standards, and clinical agency requirements.
  • Maintains student and faculty records, develops policies and procedures, and organizes program committees.
  • Participates in faculty recruitment, hiring, orientation, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
  • Monitors quality of instruction, advises students, and maintains professional association memberships.
  • Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on-site for collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current licensure in the state of application.
  • Current Graduate degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of three years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.
  • Active, unencumbered Nursing License in the state of work or part of the compact licensure.
  • At least three-four years of direct patient care experience as a registered nurse.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent oral/written communication abilities.
  • Collaborative leadership style with computer resource proficiency.
  • Preferred experience in supervision, planning, budget preparation, and maintenance.
