Program Director II - Day Programming (3342)
Pay: $33.15/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, Staff Meetings once a month on 3rd Thursday of Month 3:30pm-4:30pm
About the role
This is a dynamic leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of day program operations. The position ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that promote engagement, independence, and well-being for program participants. The Director will lead a team of dedicated staff, manage operational resources, and foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, person-centered programming tailored to participant needs and interests.
- Monitor program effectiveness and continuously improve service delivery.
- Oversee budgets, contracts, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting systems.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for families, ensuring transparent communication and responsive support.
- Advocate for participant needs within the organization and broader community.
- Collaborate with government agencies, community organizations, and internal departments to enhance program visibility and impact.
- Represent the program in public forums and stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Standard driver’s license – class C or class D
- 3 – 5 years of related experience
