Overview
Hospice of Florida is seeking a Program Director to lead their Hospice Program in Green Cove Springs. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the agency, focusing on growth, external market relationships, financial management, customer service, and quality care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Forge Strong Connections: Partner with liaisons to build positive relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and others.
- Build the Dream Team: Hire and train qualified staff, ensuring they are adequately oriented and evaluated.
- Be the Backbone of Excellence: Manage administrative functions and overall local operations, keeping the program running smoothly.
- Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead with Purpose: Take charge of daily management and operations, driving the program towards success.
- Policies and Procedures: Implement approved policies and procedures, shaping the future of the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related fields required.
- Two (2) years of hospice experience required, with extensive knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Department of Aging and Disability Services regulations.
- Experience in operations and/or sales leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships within the community and within the company.
- Skilled at establishing and maintaining relationships with key staff, marketing contacts, and clinical staff to understand the Hospice Mission and services.
- Experience in analyzing processes, planning improvements, supporting change, and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
$130,000 - $135,000 per year (Average Pay Range). Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position.
