Program Director - Hillcrest

About the role

The position is available in Rutland, MA and offers a starting salary of $54,000 annually, with potential for additional compensation based on education and experience up to $63,640. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group home, including program planning, supervision of staff, budget management, integration of community-based experiences for youth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, therapeutic services.
• Support growth and development with a 1 staff to 3 students ratio.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, educators, therapists, psychiatrists.
• Teach essential life skills to at-risk young people.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for youth with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma with five years of congregate care experience or Bachelor’s degree with three years of congregate care experience required.
• Two years of previous supervisory experience required.
• Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or a related field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have five years of congregate care experience or a bachelor’s degree with three years of congregate care experience.
• Must have two years of previous supervisory experience.

Skills

• Experience with ABA model.
• Ability to supervise staff effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of behavioral healthcare principles.
