About the role

The Program Director, Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program Technical Assistance Provider leads statewide support for Foster Youth Services Coordinating Programs. This role develops and maintains the program framework and technical assistance delivery systems, provides services to county offices of education throughout California, oversees program monitoring and compliance, and directs staff delivering technical assistance to support effective FYSCP implementation statewide.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in social work, education, public administration or other fields closely related to the job requirements, from an institution recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation; foreign degrees require translation and equivalency via an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• Experience: Five years developing, implementing, and managing a countywide Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program (including program framework, policies/procedures, grant writing, evaluation, monitoring, and leveraging technology for data analysis), with three years providing training and technical assistance to foster youth programs in collaboration with the California Department of Education
• Preferred: A master’s degree or above in one of the areas listed above
