Program Director

Requirements

• A Master's Degree in psychology, counseling, or another health and human service-related field is required.
• The ideal candidate must be licensed in PA or license eligible as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Behavior Specialist (LBS).
• At least two years of program management experience is required.
• Two years of experience in a mental health setting.
• Two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a collaborative work environment in support of Merakey’s Core Values.
• Create a culture that fully engages employees and empowers others to suggest and make decisions for continuing improvement.
• Provide ongoing guidance, mentoring, feedback, and motivation to staff to ensure competent performance while adhering to department and Merakey policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements, as well as requirements from payors.
• Oversee the profit and loss for the program and manage daily operations.
• Maintain productive working relationships and communication with external and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee recruitment and new hire onboarding processes.

Merakey’s Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) is a recovery-oriented program supporting individuals with both mental illness and intellectual disabilities. Pay

$62,000 annually, or salary aligned with experience and licensure, plus mileage reimbursement.
