Program Director
Job Summary
The Program Director organizes, develops, directs, and supervises all aspects of a program which includes operations and patient care provided by the program, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that the highest degree of quality care is rendered at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic patient experience initiatives by analyzing and transforming patient feedback into actionable improvements and measurable results.
- Create and sustain a culture of service excellence by coaching leaders, fostering accountability, and making patient experience a shared responsibility.
- Build strong interdisciplinary partnerships and influence change across nursing, therapy, physicians, and support departments to enhance the patient experience.
- Responsible for staffing and scheduling to provide adequate coverage for patient services provided by the program.
- Serves on the administrative staff and represents the program in hospital meetings.
- Prepares and monitors financial and budgeting concerns for the program.
- Maintains open and ongoing communication with the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Therapy Operations to ensure patient, staff, and business needs are met.
