About the role
The Program Director plays a crucial role in overseeing a program designed to serve at-risk youth and families, fostering high-quality services and community partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Meet program contract deliverables and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain program budget and prepare presentations and training materials.
- Work with other organizations to build community partnerships and foster outreach opportunities.
- Analyze financial and statistical reports to assess budget status and take preventive measures.
- Supervise Lead Clinicians and clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy.
- Hire and manage staff, ensuring they have the necessary qualifications and licenses.
- Provide coaching, counseling, and training to promote optimal performance.
- Ensure staff performance is evaluated regularly and corrective actions are taken as necessary.
- Maintain an internal policy and procedural manual aligned with state licensing requirements, program policies, and agency procedures.
- Train staff in program data collection and ensure accurate input into Salesforce database.
- Maintain open communication with leadership and complete significant incident reporting.
- Conduct monthly quality assurance tasks and participate in staff meetings.
- Monitor Salesforce for compliance with data collection requirements.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, human services field, or related field; 2 years of leadership and management experience; 5+ years of experience working with at-risk youth and families; Mental Health First Aid certification within 3 months of employment.
- PREFERRED: Master’s degree in business administration, human services field, counseling, or related field.
- Valid Texas Driver’s license with a clear driving record and reliable transportation.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and work in a fast-paced environment.
