About the role

Aid in the planning, operation, and implementation of community-oriented programs to address resident needs. Monitor classes, secure qualified instructors, and serve as a substitute instructor when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor classes and ensure they are conducted effectively.
  • Secure qualified instructors and substitute instructors as needed.
  • Develop and implement community service programs.
  • Research and write proposals for community service programs.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree.
  • One (1) year of experience in developing programs for residents of the state and/or local communities.
  • A Master's Degree in human or social services may substitute for the required experience.

Residency Requirements

In accordance with the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), all employees must reside in the State of New Jersey unless exempted under the law. If you do not live in New Jersey, you have one year after starting employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey. Employees failing to meet the residency requirements or obtain an exemption will be removed from employment.

Pay and Benefits

$47,500.00 per year. Includes benefits such as dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, and vision insurance.
