About the role

As a Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 2 in Azusa, CA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position requires on-site work in Redondo Beach, California, following a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration.
  • Support preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC (Estimate to Complete/Estimate at Completion).
  • Perform and/or assist in financial performance analyses and visibility reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation and submittal of monthly CDRLs (Contract Data Requirements List) such as IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report).
  • Support variance analysis reports.
  • Facilitate and support the program monthly rhythm process, incorporating baseline changes into the EVM (Earned Value Management) system while utilizing Cobra, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW).
  • Serve as the System Administrator on a large Level 1 earned value program.
  • Act as the primary integration liaison between Cost Management, Scheduling, Earned Value, and enterprise tool development teams, coordinating cross-functional resolution of system issues.
  • Ensure alignment of data reporting processes across program control systems.
  • Set up cost control systems, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systems.
  • Support audits and reviews requested by customers and company management.
  • Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/assessment, and visibility reports.
  • Develop and analyze estimates to complete.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • No clearance required to start.
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with Cobra or SAP S/4 Hana.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Defense industry experience.
  • Program Cost Control experience.
  • Experience with Power BI Dashboard Data Analytics and Reporting.
  • Strong PC skills, specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting).
  • Experience in data analytics, enterprise tool administration, and cross-system integration across COBRA EVMS, SAP S/4 HANA, Power BI, and program reporting platforms.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00. The above range represents a general guideline; actual offers may vary based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
