Program Cost Control Analyst
About the role
This Program Control Analyst position supports missions critical to national and global security. Key responsibilities include developing budget baselines, maintaining cost/schedule integration, preparing budgets and schedules, performing financial performance analyses, and preparing reports.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration
- Support preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC
- Perform and/or assist in financial performance analyses and visibility reporting
- Affiliate with program monthly rhythm process, incorporating baseline changes into EVM system while utilizing Cobra, SAP, and Business Warehouse (BW)
Requirements
This position requires the ability to work on site daily in Redondo Beach, California. It is a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience
- No clearance required to start
- Experience with financial analysis or reporting
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
- Experience with Power BI Dashboard Data Analytics and Reporting
- Strong PC skills - specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)
- Experience with COBRA EVMS, SAP S/4 HANA, Power BI, and program reporting platforms

Pay
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
Schedule
This position is a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
