Program Coordinator, The Green Bandana Project
School Recruitment and Outreach
Support the growth of The Green Bandana Project by helping to identify, recruit, and engage high schools, colleges, and universities nationwide.
Conduct outreach to school administrators, counselors, student affairs professionals, and student leaders through email, phone, virtual meetings, and presentations.
Maintain a pipeline of prospective schools and track recruitment activities using CRM and project management systems.
Assist in developing outreach materials, presentations, and communications that support program expansion.
Represent The Green Bandana Project at conferences, webinars, and networking events to increase program visibility and adoption.
School Onboarding and Implementation Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for participating schools during the onboarding and implementation process.
Guide schools through program enrollment, orientation, and launch activities to ensure successful implementation.
Coordinate the distribution of program materials, resources, and promotional items.
Provide technical assistance and ongoing support to school contacts, responding to questions and troubleshooting implementation challenges.
Monitor school participation and engagement to ensure a positive participant experience and long-term program sustainability.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with school personnel, student leaders, and community partners.
Conduct regular check-ins with participating schools to assess needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for increased engagement.
Support efforts to retain participating schools and encourage annual program renewal.
Facilitate communication between schools and SAVE staff to ensure timely and effective support.
Program Administration and Data Management
Maintain accurate records of school participation, outreach activities, implementation milestones, and program outcomes.
Track onboarding and participation metrics and prepare reports for internal use and grant reporting.
Assist with scheduling meetings, training, webinars, and other program-related events.
Support the collection of participant feedback and program evaluation data.
Program Growth and Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, participant engagement, and program delivery.
Share feedback and lessons learned from participating schools to support program enhancements.
Assist with the development of new resources and tools that support program growth and scalability.
Contribute to organizational initiatives, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, education, public health).
- Demonstrated passion for mental health, youth programming, and suicide prevention.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship-building.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including students, educators, volunteers, and community members.
- Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating group activities or workshops.
- Basic knowledge of mental health resources and youth mental health challenges is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google cloud products.
Compensation/Benefits
Salary: $45,000-$55,000 annually, dependent on skills and experience. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages for this position.
