Duties
- Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
- Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
- Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
- Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
- Maintaining program calendars and schedules
- Utilizing University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience
- Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions
- Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research
Required Education
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
Additional Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- One year or more of relevant experience in higher education, alumni relations, engagement, event coordination or customer-focused roles
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Working with student organizations or volunteers
- Coordinating events or engagement programs
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for long periods of time
