Program Coordinator (Part-Time Evening Shift)

About the Role

Assist the Program Director in the management and supervision of the day-to-day clinical operation of Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS).

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Program Director to oversee daily operations of the program (1 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and provide on-call support as required.
• Ensure that Family Intervention Specialists and Family Support Workers deliver clinical interventions to children and families in crisis following the Children System of Care Model and Protocols.
• Provide crisis stabilization services in the field when Family Intervention Specialists and Family Support Workers need backup support.
• Become certified and maintain certification for the Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT).
• Monitor and ensure that Family Intervention Specialists and Crisis Intervention Specialists are certified in the Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT) and maintain yearly certification.
• Develop and implement staffing patterns with the Program Director to maximize staff’s ability to respond to crises on a 24/7 schedule.
• Ensure a positive work environment and staff morale in collaboration with the Program Director.
• Provide clinical supervision for all program cases.
• Provide training and ongoing supervision to Family Intervention Specialists and Crisis Intervention Specialists.
• Coordinate all staff training for the State of New Jersey and Catholic Charities.
• Oversee, review, and approve all Individual Crisis Plans (ICP), monitor client outcomes, review CMO Referrals, review transitional plans for discharge, and review Crisis Assessment Tools.
• Ensure MRSS services comply with Children System of Care contract requirements and implement best practices in the field.
• Supervise program staff and complete initial and yearly evaluations in conjunction with the Program Director.
• Develop methods to collect data for tracking external/internal outcomes established by CSOC/MRSS, including delivery of services, outcomes of direct services, cost-effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and overall effectiveness.
• Implement Continuous Quality Improvement using PDSA models with the Program Director.
• Provide backup support to the Program Director as needed.
• Ensure on-call coverage for the 24/7 program environment.
• Collaborate and work cooperatively with other agency staff and community agencies.
• Serve on professional committees as required by administration and in keeping with professional standards.
• Fulfill diverse responsibilities assigned by the Program Director.
• Comply with COA Standards of Catholic Charities and all agency policies.
• Learn Millennium and CYBER programs used by CCDOT and CSOC.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certification and maintenance of the Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT).
• Ability to provide clinical supervision and training to staff.
• Knowledge of the Children System of Care Model and Protocols.
• Experience in crisis stabilization and intervention.
• Familiarity with data collection and outcome tracking.
