Duties

  • collect documentation of disabilities and confirm eligibility for academic accommodations
  • coordinate exams and alternate site testing accommodations
  • enter data into departmental databases on registered students
  • communicate with faculty regarding the provision of required academic accommodations
  • coordinate safety and emergency evacuation plans with Campus Police, Administrative Services, and Facilities for students with disability
  • coordinate alternate format academic materials
  • assist students and address difficulties in the classroom related to disabilities
  • collaborate on campus efforts to promote retention and degree completion for students with disabilities

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities as well as experience working in a higher education environment

Pay

Anticipated Hiring Range: $45,000-$50,000

Schedule

Shift: M-F, 8am-5pm
