Duties
- collect documentation of disabilities and confirm eligibility for academic accommodations
- coordinate exams and alternate site testing accommodations
- enter data into departmental databases on registered students
- communicate with faculty regarding the provision of required academic accommodations
- coordinate safety and emergency evacuation plans with Campus Police, Administrative Services, and Facilities for students with disability
- coordinate alternate format academic materials
- assist students and address difficulties in the classroom related to disabilities
- collaborate on campus efforts to promote retention and degree completion for students with disabilities
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities as well as experience working in a higher education environment

Pay
Anticipated Hiring Range: $45,000-$50,000
