Program Services Coordinator
Position Overview
The Foundation Specialist evaluates patient eligibility for foundation program support and coordinates shipments of products to patients within program guidelines. This role is an individual contributor who reports to a senior supervisor.
Key Accountabilities
- Learn and apply aspects of reimbursement including benefit investigations, payer policies, and applicable regulatory and administrative rules.
- Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills with proven ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Solve problems under pressure, prioritize tasks, and provide excellent customer service.
- Work collaboratively within a team, responsibly delegate next steps, and demonstrate effective leadership.
- Follow written Standard Operating Procedures, manage change, apply technical expertise, and focus on achieving results while ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Support program awareness activities as needed, including sharing approved information about foundation resources, processes, and patient support pathways through various communication methods.
- Be prepared for periodic mandatory overtime, including weekends, during peak referral seasons or unexpected surges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred; a minimum of three years reimbursement experience is preferred.
- The expected salary range for this position is $27 to $33 per hour; actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
