Program Coordinator (Bilingual)
About the role
The Center for Healthcare Delivery Science (CHDS) at Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a full-time Bilingual Program Coordinator. The position is available immediately and is based in Wilmington, DE. This CRC will work primarily with J.J. Cutuli, Ph.D and will require frequent travel to New Jersey and Philadelphia.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Camden City Schools Homeless Education Liaison with district operations such as updating student information systems and office administrative data for families experiencing homelessness.
- Coordinate IRB submissions.
- Recruit study participants, obtain informed consent, interact with community-partners, youth, young adults and parents related to research projects.
- Schedule and conduct study procedures, collect and record study data, maintain study records.
- Aid in coordinating financial contracts between community partners.
- Participate in data collection and analysis.
- Prepare scientific presentations, manuscripts, reports, and grants.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, counseling, social work, or related.
- Must effectively use Microsoft computer software.
- Qualitative coding experience preferred.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with educators and community human service providers.
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are required.
Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills are essential and the CRC will sometimes assist in translating materials and engaging Spanish-speaking students and families.
