Program Coordinator

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Orthopedics seeks a full-time Program Coordinator to oversee the collection and analysis of patient-reported outcome instruments (questionnaires).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the collection of Patient Reported Outcome Instruments (questionnaires) across the department.
• Absorb and assist in contacting patients to boost participation rates.
• Supervise the submission of data to national registries.
• Support faculty and residents in accessing data for quality assessment and improvement projects, as well as research projects.
• Meet with division representatives to assess needs, report performance, and develop strategies to enhance performance.
• Weekly meetings with Dr. Lebwohl or other faculty supervisors to review project status.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license.
• Associates degree, BA or BS preferred.
• Proficiency in computer software and database management (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Experience in medical database research preferred.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills.

Skills and Abilities

• Experience in medical database research would be advantageous.
