About the Role
Responsible for the supervision of all direct care staff members. Implements program’s policies and procedures. Ensures the physical plant complies with RHY and safety regulations.
Reports to: Assistant Program Director
Supervises: Counseling Specialists, Counselors, and Relief Counselors
Responsibilities
- Hires and supervises all Counselors, Counseling Specialists, and Relief Counselors.
- Models and promotes dependable, responsible, accountable, and ethical behavior.
- Ensures all full-time staff meets annual training requirements.
- Assists with coordination of educational, vocational, and housing planning and programming for all residents.
- Ensures new resident orientations are completed for each resident.
- Prepares staff schedule to ensure program safety, appropriate delivery of services, and necessary coverage. Covers shifts to maintain coverage.
- Works with the Assistant Program Director to complete timely staff evaluations.
- Ensures the Behavior Management System is utilized appropriately.
- Ensures all household, personal, and food supplies are ordered and in appropriate supply.
- Works collaboratively with Case Planners to ensure quality of service.
- Participates in weekly Force Field team meetings and conducts monthly staff and resident meetings.
- Provides 24-hour on-call coverage to program staff via agency cell phone.
- Is DYCD Connect trained and proficient.
- Responds to all emergencies at the residence.
- Performs any other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- High School diploma is required.
- Two years of managerial experience preferred.
- Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
