About the Role
Coordinate the day-to-day overall operation of the S2S program in Charlotte, NC, including candidate screening, placement, mentoring, event planning (hiring events), and volunteer functions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and maintain an inventory of job openings and coordinate job placements.
- Coordinate participant assessments and training course enrollment.
- Identify and assist program participants needing resume updates and help with interviewing skills.
- Promote S2S program participants for job openings and submit resumes.
- Communicate application instructions to program applicants and coordinate interviews for program participants.
- Solicit interview feedback and confirm hiring decisions.
- Coordinate furniture requests, schedule delivery, and follow up.
- Match hired participants with mentors.
- Maintain and develop new referring partner relationships in the market.
- Coordinate placement of “success stories” testimonials, quotes, photos, and video.
- Collect stories, quotes, and testimonials from program participants, industry partners, referral organizations, mentors, and volunteers.
- Maintain a schedule of all necessary follow-ups.
- Coordinate program-related content on all S2S NC social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter).
- Track performance data of all social media platforms (followers, connections, impressions, engagements, etc.) and analyze month-over-month metrics.
- Create and distribute the S2S NC monthly newsletter to supporters, industry partners, nonprofit partners, mentors, volunteers, and others.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate all volunteer and mentor recruitment, engagement, and management strategies, including a volunteer and mentor appreciation plan.
- Maintain all program data collection via TraxSolutions and ensure reporting and tracking requirements are met.
- Assist in coordinating the market’s intern program.
- Assist with grant research and fundraising opportunities.
- Assist in maintaining a grant calendar outlining grant requirements and application deadlines.
- Support donor cultivation and stewardship efforts.
- Support market goals, objectives, and initiatives.
- Develop positive relationships with volunteers and the community.
- Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Executive Director.
