Job Responsibilities
- Utilize various computer programs to enter data, maintain records, and prepare reports.
- Promote First Steps Georgia and complete participant enrollments at community events, North Central Health District Health Departments, and partner organizations throughout District 5-2.
- Attend and actively participate in First Steps Georgia, University of Georgia, and Nurse-Family Partnership trainings, meetings, and site visits as assigned.
- Collaborate with other First Steps Georgia sites and Georgia Department of Public Health programs to support program goals and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all First Steps Georgia program requirements related to participant enrollment, documentation, and reporting.
- Prepare and assemble informational and educational materials for First Steps Georgia outreach and enrollment activities.
- Conduct participant screenings and surveys with prospective clients by phone and in person.
- Deliver presentations and participate in public outreach activities to promote First Steps Georgia and increase community awareness.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience communicating information in a customer service setting.
- Experience working with grant-funded programs or projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual language skills are highly desirable.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the state of Georgia for training, educational, or professional development purposes as required.
