Program Coordinator

About the Role

This position supports students, activities, and programs related to service learning, community engagement, community-engaged research, internal and external partnerships, and community-building for the College of Medicine and among the interprofessional programs of Drexel University.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate students engaged in service learning and community outreach activities
• Coordinate community organizations involvement and collaboration
• Manage (including engagement and communication with) internal and external partners
• Maintain on-site presence and assistance in the office and at community events
• Order, organize, and inventory equipment and supplies for community events
• Respond effectively to changing priorities, organizational needs, and evolving community partnerships
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, Canvas or other learning management systems, database systems, and project management software
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of experience
• Knowledge of community health and population health principles
• Experience working with diverse and underserved populations

Pay

Compensation for this position ranges from $45,330 to $68,000 per year. The offered rate will vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
