About the role

Plan, develop, implement and monitor assigned programs; provide training, learning resources and technical assistance needed. Coordinate and direct operations for our Senior & Adult Services Program to assure efficient and sound programmatic and fiscal operations. Make recommendations and assist in the formulation of objectives, practices and plans.

Responsibilities

  • Under direction, ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland.
  • Plan and implement.
  • Give work directives, resolve problems, and set priorities.
  • Prepare and/or monitor reports and coordinate and monitor.
  • Supervise a staff of.
  • Work within the framework of the program budget while managing a variety of concurrent activities effectively.
  • May participate in the selection of new employees for the May train new employees in areas relevant to the program.
  • Attend community and various agency meetings.
  • Act as an advocate.
  • Develop relationships with clients, businesses, community and civic organizations to promote goodwill, and to promote the services of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as necessary to accomplish requirements.

Requirements

  • Combination of experience and education normally represented by a bachelor’s degree and from 2 to 3 years of related professional experience, including:
  • Must have the ability to relate to a wide variety of people, both professional and volunteers; as well represent the site to outside organizations and communities.
  • Must have competent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to form good working and therapeutic relationships with clients, businesses, community and civic organizations.
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented, and can maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have good working knowledge of computers with familiarity of Microsoft Office.
