AHI agilon health, inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring up to 3 days a week in-office. Applicants must be able to accept and maintain employment in the United States without sponsorship or work authorization support. Only candidates located in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area will be considered.

About the Role

The Program Coordinator supports the operations team in developing and managing programs, working closely with both the team and physician partners. This role requires data analysis, creativity, positive energy, strong presentation skills, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with agendas, meeting arrangements, and minutes.
  • Support projects for the Operations & Risk Adjustment team and other assignments from management.
  • Assist supervisor and department with presentations, including content editing and recommendations.
  • Collect and compile data for analysis.
  • Compose routine correspondence to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Effectively prioritize and complete assigned tasks and projects.
  • Reconcile and validate data for accuracy and completion.
  • Research and provide timely, courteous responses to provider inquiries related to Operations or Risk Adjustment projects.
  • Track and monitor progress against timelines and key milestones.
  • Understand, adhere to, and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, displaying awareness and sensitivity to internal and external clients.
  • Proactively meet or exceed client needs.
  • Take responsibility for personal growth, including acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in professional communication, including active listening and clear speaking.
  • Set and complete challenging goals while demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in customer service and/or office support.
  • Experience working in a physician practice or within health plan operations is preferred.
  • Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience.

Skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also owning projects independently.
  • General understanding of the healthcare industry, ideally in provider relations (desired).
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate data entry.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
  • Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.

Pay

This is an hourly position with a pay range of $18.00–$22.10 per hour.
