Program Coordinator / Admissions Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, applicants, and visitors to the Physical Therapy Department.
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process, including PTCAS applications, transcript review, applicant communications, and interview coordination.
  • Advise prospective students regarding admission requirements and the physical therapy profession.
  • Care for annual admissions and enrollment activities, including orientation for incoming DPT students.
  • Represent the DPT Program at university visit days, college fairs, pre-PT club meetings, information sessions, and other recruitment events.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment and marketing materials, including website content, newsletters, brochures, LMS pages, and social media communications.
  • Support departmental committees, maintain admissions records, and prepare communications for partner and feeder schools.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and university partners to plan and execute departmental events and recruitment initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including a minimum of six years of related professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with admissions, student recruitment, higher education, healthcare programs, or marketing communications preferred.
  • Ability to travel occasionally and work some evening or weekend recruitment events.
