Key Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of program budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Prepare Estimates at Completion (EACs), funding profiles, and cash flow updates for assigned programs.
- Analyze actual costs versus budgets; identify drivers of variances and assist in risk and opportunity assessments.
- Aid in preparing monthly program reviews and financial presentations for internal leadership and customer stakeholders.
- Maintain control of labor, material, and subcontract budgets; track charges and ensure accuracy of program cost data.
- Contribute to pricing efforts for proposals, modifications, and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.
- Collaborate with Contracts, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions to support program execution.
- Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, CAS, and internal financial policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits, financial reviews, and data calls.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to aid decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in program finance, FP&A, cost analysis, or related government contracting finance role.
- Working knowledge of defense contracting standards and practices, including common contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M, IDIQ).
- Experience with financial systems such as Deltek Costpoint, SAP, or similar tools.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
