Responsibilities
- Reports detailed information, analyzes financial data in support of project cost/schedule status and presents briefings to SAIC managers and customers as required.
- Accurately and timely report customer weekly and/or monthly status reports maintaining accurate burn rate and LOF information.
- Support development of spend plans for assigned programs and perform financial analysis including but not limited to maintaining Estimate at Completion (EACs).
- Participate in AOP (annual operating plan), Quarterly forecast, monthly latest revised estimates.
- Analyze and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, unbillables and costs on hold on a recurring basis.
- Submit and maintain purchase requisitions for subcontractors, consultants, and materials; monitoring subcontractor's cost and review/approval of invoices.
- Support other programmatic ad hoc requests, as needed / requested by manager.
- Proactively participates in process improvement efforts relating to finance.
Qualifications
- Typical Education and Experience: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Concentration in Finance, Accounting or business related discipline preferred.
- Required Skills: Understanding of financial management, analytical, excellent communication, presentation skills, ability to work independently and as a member of a team, familiarity with government contracting and contract types, experience working in a fast-paced environment, effective communication and meeting deadlines, organizing and managing action items, prioritizing tasks, and persistence in follow-through.
- Computer Skills: Well versed in MS tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.) to include advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables. Working knowledge of CostPoint and Cognos Workspace is preferred.
Pay
Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
