Program Control Analyst Senior

Responsibilities

  • Lead program control activities including budgeting, forecasting, Estimate at Completion (EAC) development, and variance analysis
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including cost and schedule performance metrics
  • Monitor contract funding, burn rates, and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and charge number structures
  • Coincide with Program Managers, Project Managers, and functional leads to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
  • Prepare and review contract deliverables including CDRLs, status reports, and financial exhibits
  • Analyze subcontractor costs and ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFAR, and company policies and procedures
  • Mentor and guide junior program control analysts

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience: 8-10+ years of experience in program control, financial analysis, or related field within a government contracting environment
  • Proficiency with financial management systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, Oracle)
  • Strong understanding of federal government contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost-Plus, CPFF, CPIF)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or civilian agency contracts
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with large, complex programs or IDIQ/task order contracts
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or similar
